Visual Thinking & Digital Sketchnotes - Issue #2
Sketchnote Manifesto #1 - About Values
Today I asked Google to find a “Sketchnote Manifesto” for me. As I learned from agile projects, you always need a “Manifesto” before to start working. ;-)
After more than 15 minutes of unsuccessful search I remembered an old saying: “If you can’t find it, create it.” So here’s my first draft of a “Sketchnote Manifesto”:
We are uncovering better ways of visual notetaking by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
Ideas over Art
Graceful enough over Perfect
Listening over Thinking
Learning over Knowing
That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.
